Pippy alternatives for a free baby tracker with history
Pippy is a new baby tracker that says core tracking is free forever, and that syncing and doctor sharing will always be free. Its free accounts keep only the most recent 30 days of logs; full history, Smart Insights, photo logging, smarter AI and multiple children are optional premium features, and the App Store notes a 7-day Premium trial. It is English only. Pixy is the reverse on sharing, which is paid, and offers a free nap prediction with no trial, 15 languages and ages 0 to 12.

Pixy is ours, so read the rest knowing that. Every claim about Pippy below comes from its own website and its App Store listing, linked at the foot, read on 13 October 2026. This is the Pippy by Jersysito Isenia at meetpippy.com, not the similarly named Pip Baby Tracker.

What Pippy offers
Pippy calls itself “Free forever” and shows $0, and its FAQ says core tracking is free forever. Sharing is the part it leans on: its site says it is free for the whole family and not gated behind a paywall, and its FAQ says syncing and doctor sharing will always be free. Pixy cannot match that on sharing.
The limit is history. The same FAQ lists optional premium features: Smart Insights, photo logging, smarter AI, multiple children and full history, described as logs beyond 30 days, with free accounts keeping the most recent 30 days. The App Store listing notes a 7-day free Premium trial. Prices are not stated on the pages read. Its App Store text mentions when a child’s next nap is predicted and its site says it suggests wake windows; neither says whether that is free or paid. It runs on iPhone (not iPad) and Android, in English only, and says it covers the newborn stage and beyond without naming an upper age.
On track record, Pippy is also new and small: the App Store shows 5.0 from two ratings, which is too few to tell you anything, and Google Play shows no rating and 100+ downloads. A short history is not a Pixy-only trade-off.

Which one, and for whom
- Pippy, if two parents logging for free matters most, you read English, and thirty days of history is enough for you. Keep in mind that it is brand new.
- Pixy, if you want a free nap prediction without a trial clock, an app in your own language out of 15, or one that carries on to age twelve, and would try the AI tools within a free allowance. Expect to pay if you want to share with a partner, or to see the whole history.
The full comparison puts seven apps side by side, this guide covers which apps predict sleep for free, and this one what stays free elsewhere. Two more alternatives guides: Pebbi and Luli.
Questions parents ask
Is Pippy free?
Its site says “Free forever” and shows $0, and its FAQ says core tracking is free forever. The same FAQ lists optional premium features, among them full history beyond 30 days: free accounts keep the most recent 30 days. The App Store notes a 7-day free Premium trial. It does not state prices.
Does Pippy let two parents share for free?
Yes. Its FAQ says syncing and doctor sharing will always be free. In Pixy, sharing with a partner or caregiver is a paid feature, so this is where Pippy is ahead.
Does Pixy also limit free history?
A free Pixy account holds the recent stretch of the record, and a subscription opens the whole history back to the first day. Pippy states its free limit as 30 days; we do not put a number on Pixy’s.

General information, not medical advice. Every child develops on their own timeline and the ranges here are typical, not targets. Pixy is a tracking tool, not a medical device. For anything about your child’s health, ask your paediatrician or health visitor.
Track it instead of remembering it
Pixy logs sleep, feeds and routines from newborn to age 12, and predicts the next nap from your child’s own wake windows. That part is free.
